• Controlling Fire Ants Near Your Home

Posted in News You Can Use, Team Gale on Jul 13, 2016

Fire ants are an environmental hazard throughout most of the southern US, peppering yards with little clay mounds and aggressive insects.

There are dozens of species of fire ants across the globe, the perpetrator in our area being the "red imported fire ant." This insect has been categorized as an invasive species to the US, having been brought in inadvertently about 70 years ago on a cargo ship from Brazil.

A fire ant bite causes intense itching, welts, and swelling. In extreme cases, individuals attacked by fire ants can die from exposure to the fire ants' venom. Dizziness and disorientation...

Realtor magazine recently published an article that breaks down exactly what gets buyers excited about a property, and what sellers should be focusing on when they are jazzing up their houses before listing.

The study, or "Remodeling Impact Report," done by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) evaluated resale value and customer satisfaction regarding upgrades such as kitchen and bath renovations, master suite, basement and attic conversions, new or refinished flooring, and HVAC replacement, among others.

  • Further Proof that Zillow Is Not a Just Like Using REALTOR

Posted in News You Can Use, Team Gale on May 26, 2016

While online search tools have revolutionized the way people shop for real estate and the way realtors can interact with prospective clients, it has also proven as a source of extreme misinformation for homeowners as to the value of their property.

One day after the Madison Park home sold, Zillow estimated that it was worth $1.75 million dollars, when it in...
